Madison Childrens Museum

One of the best things that you can do for your children is help them expand their mind in a fun and entertaining setting. You never know whether they're going to end up as a teacher in this city or an architect Canada based and building on their skills at a young age is a great way to help get them started in the world. So, why not spend a day with the whole family at the new Madison Children's Museum? The new building located on Madison's Capital Square is three times larger than its previous location and is full of great activities and events for toddlers all the way up to pre-teens.

When you enter the MCM you will be in the Community Concourse, an area that is free to the public to explore. This section of the museum will be filled with previews of what you will find throughout the rest of the museum and mini-exhibits to peak your children's interest. One month you may be able to learn a little about space and the planets while another might introduce working on a farm and the new technology behind tractors and livestock waterers.

The Early Learning Gallery is meant for children under the age of five who are in the early stages of their development. The exhibit is set up like a global village with images and sounds that will stimulate young minds in a variety of ways. Scientific SR & ED research have shown us that just a few visits to a place like this could drastically improve your child's ability to retain information and learn in the future.

The Art Studio is meant as a place for children to create something new. Whether it's a masterpiece that will receive the coveted position on the front of the refrigerator or a sculptor that they can place on their nightstand, children all provided with all of the materials they might need to let their artistic abilities bloom and grow. Then you can take a trip to the Possible-opolis, where science and art meet and, according to the online brochure template, anything can happen.

There is also a Rooftop Terrace on the top of the building that just allows children to unwind and counterweights all of the learning they may have done throughout the day. This rooftop park is open throughout the year and includes play equipment and a clubhouse. Families can also grab a meal before heading home at the museum's new cafe.
